The Velvet Blazer
Velvet is this seasons hottest fabric! So, we styled four different outfits to show you how you can incorporate velvet touches into your wardrobe.
First, I started with one of my favorite pieces, the blazer. The blazer’s seasonal update is now in velvet making this blazer / boyfriend denim combo perfect for date night or a night out with the girls. I love to mix a casual piece like this band t-shirt and boyfriend jeans with a classic pair of strappy heels. It gives it an updated and more stylish approach. Throw on this Frame velvet blazer and a classic Chloe bag and you are all set for a night out!
The Velvet Bomber
This velvet bomber is another one of my favorites! Velvet can be an intimidating material to style. However, in the style of a bomber there is so much you can do with it. Here, I styled it a little more casual by adding the track pants with the striped t-shirt. I also added a pair of Rag and Bone tennis shoes. If you follow us on instagram you will see me wearing these more than once! This outfit is perfect for any travel day. The classic Chanel backpack really ties this outfit together.
The Velvet Boot
Oh, the beloved velvet boot, seen on every street style star last show season has now made its way to main stream wish lists everywhere. It is definitely on mine and with all the different price points available it takes the sting out of a piece you might feel to be a little too trendy. For now I adore! Here I toned it down by pairing it with a classic all denim outfit. It sets the stage for this boot to be the scene steeler. These re-worked jeans by Frame have a great two tone look with the perfect raw staggered hem. The shirt here is by Mother and the distressing and patchwork add to this denim on denim look. I also added a fun and classic Gucci bag to keep with the flow of the outfit.
The Velvet Dress
The velvet dress is the one and done piece. It makes a statement but in this classic cut I wanted to give it a bit more edge with the accessories. I added this great vince leather moto jacket and these amazing Isabel Marant studded boots. Also on my fall shopping list! You can never go wrong with this Chloe Faye bag so I added it as a way to bring some of the hardware up and to balance out the boots.
Thank you for reading! And as always we have linked some of our favorite velvet pieces for you to shop below!
